Sunlord Electronics Faces Two Patent Infringement Lawsuits from Murata, Seeking 4.4 Million Yuan in Compensation

On March 18, Sunlord Electronics released an announcement disclosing that the company had received two patent infringement lawsuit documents from the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court on March 17. The lawsuits were filed by Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of Japan. The case numbers are (2025) Hu 73 Zhi Min Chu No. 36 and No. 37, pertaining to two invention patents: ZL201810666257.9 and ZL201811382715.2. Murata has accused Sunlord Electronics and its affiliated company, Shanghai Xuqin Electronics, of manufacturing, selling, and offering for sale products that allegedly infringe upon these patents. Consequently, Murata is demanding an immediate cessation of these activities and the destruction of all related products.
