Tesla celebrated the official launch of its Shanghai Megafactory for Energy Storage on February 11. Initially, the factory is set to produce 10,000 commercial energy storage batteries per year, boasting a storage capacity of approximately 40 gigawatt-hours (GWh). The project commenced construction in May of last year and was completed within a remarkable seven months, successfully passing final acceptance by the end of the year—a testament to the renowned 'Tesla Speed'.
