U.S. stock market indices commenced trading on a positive note, with the Nasdaq surging 0.41%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average edging up 0.03%, and the S&P 500 index advancing 0.24%. The semiconductor sector shone brightly, as NVIDIA's share price jumped over 2%, while Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and Micron Technology also registered gains of more than 1% each. Boeing's stock price soared 3% following the announcement by its CEO of the delivery of over 30 737 aircraft in January. Conversely, Lockheed Martin's share price plummeted more than 5%, as the company's fourth-quarter net profit declined by 71.75% year-on-year.
