On January 23, Tianqi Lithium published its 2024 annual performance forecast, revealing a significant drop in both the selling price and gross profit of its lithium products when compared to the previous year's corresponding period. The company anticipates a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company to range from RMB 7.1 billion to RMB 8.2 billion, a stark contrast to the profit of RMB 7.297 billion recorded in the same period last year. Similarly, after deducting non-recurring gains and losses, the net loss is expected to be within the same range of RMB 7.1 billion to RMB 8.2 billion, as opposed to the profit of RMB 7.177 billion achieved in the corresponding period of 2023.
