On January 21, 2025, a powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Tainan City, Taiwan. In response, TSMC has confirmed that all its factories have successfully resumed normal operations, despite experiencing minimal damage and injuries. Following the quake, the company swiftly evacuated factory workers, conducted thorough structural inspections, and verified safety protocols, paving the way for a gradual return to full operational capacity. Currently, electricity and water supplies remain stable, and construction sites are unaffected by the seismic event.
