The latest figures from Shenzhen Customs reveal that in 2024, the city's total import and export value surged by 16.4% year-on-year, surpassing the national growth rate by 11.4 percentage points and the provincial growth rate by 6.6 percentage points. Within this robust performance, the import value of mechanical and electrical products hit 1.35 trillion yuan, representing a 21.5% increase. Notably, the import value of integrated circuits reached 685.49 billion yuan, marking a 10.3% rise. Additionally, computer parts imports surged significantly, reaching 267.04 billion yuan, an impressive 141.8% increase. Semiconductor manufacturing equipment imports also showed strong growth, totaling 39.9 billion yuan, up 32.1%.
