Qualcomm has announced the appointment of Sailesh Kottapalli, the former Chief Architect of Intel's Xeon server processors, as Senior Vice President to spearhead the development of its data center CPUs. Kottapalli, who spent 28 years at Intel and contributed to numerous processor projects, chose Qualcomm for its innovative spirit and promising growth opportunities. Qualcomm's data center team is focused on creating high-performance, energy-efficient server solutions and is actively seeking server SoC security architects to join its ranks.
Furthermore, Qualcomm intends to introduce a public design rooted in its Snapdragon series SoC, offering a holistic package encompassing hardware, software, and beyond, designed to meet the evolving needs of the data center industry.
