ChiNext Index Plummets Over 2%

The ChiNext Index plummeted by more than 2%, while the Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.52% and the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.17%. The decline was largely driven by sectors such as non-ferrous metals, computing power, oil and gas, and consumer electronics. Nearly 3,800 stocks across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock markets recorded losses.
