At a press conference, Wang Lingjun, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs, firmly stated that the purported issue of "China's overcapacity" is non-existent, both from the perspective of comparative advantages and global market demand. This is a misconception. Chinese manufacturing has gained widespread popularity in the global market due to its comprehensive supporting infrastructure, a continuously evolving and upgrading industrial system, as well as sustained investments in research and development (R&D) and innovation. China's comprehensive manufacturing industry chain has ensured the stability of the global production and supply chain, fostering technological advancements and industrial upgrades worldwide—a fact recognized by all. Some countries' repeated amplification of this issue is, in essence, an attempt to stifle and contain China's development, amounting to protectionism that gravely undermines global industrial cooperation and the stability of the production and supply chain. Adhering to open cooperation, mutual benefit, and win-win outcomes remains the correct path for global economic development.
