During the midday recess in the Hong Kong stock market, the Hang Seng Index edged up by 0.09%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index also posted a modest gain of 0.17%. Key sectors driving the market upwards were semiconductors, hardware equipment, and construction materials. Notably, ZTE Corporation surged by over 6%, SMIC gained more than 4%, and Conch Cement advanced by over 2%. Conversely, the coal, automotive, and healthcare sectors underperformed. Yimai Yangguang witnessed a decline of more than 8%, while Li Auto and Xpeng both fell by over 3%. China Shenhua Energy also slipped by more than 1%. Furthermore, southbound funds recorded a net purchase of HK$7.336 billion.
