Huang posits that it will be another 15 years before quantum computing sees practical use, whereas Baratz asserts that D-Wave's quantum computers are currently in operation within multiple companies, Mastercard among them, underscoring that the commercialization of quantum computing is no longer a distant prospect but a present reality. Baratz further clarifies that Huang's perspective is pertinent only to gate model quantum computers and is entirely misguided when it comes to annealing quantum computers. He has extended an invitation to Huang for a discussion on this matter.
