Speaking at its earnings briefing, Lionwei said that in its semiconductor silicon wafer business, the shipment ratio of lightly doped to heavily doped wafers is roughly 3:7. Due to the product mix and equipment maintenance, 12-inch heavily doped wafers have reached full capacity. Shipments of 12-inch lightly doped wafers had previously been deliberately kept in check because of test wafer pricing, but with prices now recovering, that product is in the capacity ramp-up phase and is expected to hit full production in the first half of next year.
