During an institutional research session on November 3, GigaDevice stated that the rapid development of AI has driven a surge in demand for memory chips, with spillover effects further fueling the industry's continued prosperity. Major manufacturers are contracting or transferring capacity and exiting niche markets, and niche memory is expected to remain in tight supply overall. In NOR Flash, prices for high-capacity products are expected to rise moderately for a period of time, while prices for small- and medium-capacity products remain stable. For SLC NAND Flash, given the long capacity release cycle, the supply shortage pattern is expected to persist for a relatively extended period. The sharp price increase in niche DRAM has already affected consumer electronics demand; although supply and demand have eased somewhat, a shortage remains, overall capacity supply is limited, and prices are expected to stay high for a period of time. For MCU, driven by demand growth in sectors such as industry and energy, prices are expected to rise moderately for a period of time.
