Intel has released its Q3 2026 financial report: revenue reached $16.51 billion, up 21% year-over-year and exceeding guidance for the eighth consecutive quarter; GAAP net profit stood at $3.32 billion, down 18% year-over-year; non-GAAP net profit came in at $2.8 billion, up 169% year-over-year. The Data Center and AI business grew 78% year-over-year, marking the segment's strongest revenue growth in 15 years; revenue from the Client Computing and Physical AI business fell 5% year-over-year; Foundry segment revenue grew 58% year-over-year but remained in the red. Citing factors including the production halt at its Fab 28 plant in Israel, Intel expects fourth-quarter non-GAAP gross margin to fall back to 38%; 2027 will be a year of investment, with capital expenditure set to rise significantly, and the company will not achieve positive free cash flow for the full year. After the market close on October 29 Eastern Time, Intel's stock plunged 19.22%, with after-hours market value evaporating by approximately $93.464 billion. Intel is currently advancing advanced-process R&D and capacity layout, and its server business has replaced PCs as its new growth engine.
