On the first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings call, SanDisk Chairman and CEO David Goeckeler said that the data center business has grown from about 20% a decade ago to nearly half, and is projected to exceed 55% by 2027, with bid demand up roughly 40% year-over-year. He predicted that by the end of this decade, KV Cache will make up about one-third of the AI data center flash memory market, while the AI data center market will approach the size of today's NAND flash memory market.
