On October 28, the A-share market witnessed a notable rebound, underscored by a significant increase in trading volume, with all key indices turning a shade of red. The Shenzhen Component Index surged by over 2%, while both the ChiNext Index and the STAR Market Composite Index leaped by more than 3%. The technology sector, encompassing analog chips, CRO (Contract Research Organization), memory devices, and optical chips, shone particularly brightly, with tech stocks experiencing a substantial rebound overall.
On this day, over 4,100 stocks in the A-share market posted gains, with more than 70 stocks reaching their daily limit. Market turnover soared to 1.64 trillion yuan, marking a considerable uptick from the previous trading session. On October 28 alone, the net inflow of principal funds in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges surpassed 14 billion yuan, signaling a palpable warming of market sentiment.
Analysts have highlighted that the current valuation of A-shares is highly appealing, with incremental funds hastening their entry into the market and positive factors steadily accumulating. In the near term, the market is anticipated to embark on a recovery phase following the release of risks.
