On October 25th, it was reported that during its performance briefing held on October 24th, the CETC 41st Institute revealed its strategic focus on the PCB testing sector. Previously, the institute's solutions were mainly tailored for the R&D phase or the R&D processes of PCB manufacturers. In response to the escalating demand for efficient automated testing in mass production lines, the institute is now actively accelerating the deployment of automated testing solutions for PCB production lines. This move extends its capabilities from the R&D stage to the broader mass production industry segment.

At the upcoming Shenzhen Semiconductor Exhibition, the CETC 41st Institute will showcase a cutting-edge vector network analyzer boasting higher frequency and superior quality, along with a suite of test solutions, including PCB testing solutions. Currently, the revenue generated from PCB testing services directly targeting the industrial segment constitutes a relatively minor portion of the institute's total income. However, high-speed PCB automated testing demands not only technical support from the institute's proprietary VNA products and software algorithms but also relies on external capabilities such as test benches. Therefore, collaboration with partners is essential to drive further development in this area.

PCB testing primarily focuses on key performance indicators such as insertion loss, impedance, and dielectric constant. As high-speed transmission technology advances towards 112G and 224G, the demand for related testing services is expected to surge. Presently, the progress of sample verification is proceeding smoothly, with overall results aligning with expectations.
