On October 13, GAC Semiconductor made a successful foray into the A-share market, marking its historic entry as the first wafer foundry enterprise on the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) board. This company holds the distinction of being the pioneer in Guangdong province to achieve mass production of 12-inch wafers, as well as the sole 12-inch silicon photonics wafer mass-production platform across mainland China. Local Guangdong investment firms, notably Yuecai Fund and GAC Capital, have been instrumental in its financing journey, participating in multiple funding rounds.

Among these investors, GAC Capital has demonstrated a proactive stance in venturing into future-oriented industries, including AI, embodied intelligence, aerospace, and advanced materials, in recent years. By the first half of 2026, it had strategically invested in 32 cutting-edge technology companies, such as Neolix and Galactic Energy, bringing its total investment count to over 150 companies. Impressively, 51 of these invested enterprises, including industry leaders like Changxin Technology and Pony.ai, have successfully achieved public listing status.
