On October 11, a number of prominent silicon material companies convened a closed-door meeting in Hangzhou, reaching a consensus that the average cost, inclusive of tax, and the sales price for silicon materials (encompassing both the Siemens process and granular silicon) should not dip below RMB 43,000 per ton. This pricing takes into account the actual costs associated with industrial silicon, including electricity, depreciation, labor, and other related expenditures. Earlier in August of this year, eight domestic polysilicon companies jointly signed an Anti-Involution Agreement in Shanghai, pledging that the sales prices of photovoltaic products would not fall below the costs calculated based on the group standard.
