On October 9, Bernstein indicated that the ongoing and robust growth in demand for artificial intelligence, coupled with steady demand for high-end smartphones, is expected to keep propelling TSMC's (TSM.N) revenue growth. Leveraging monthly revenue figures, analysts at Bernstein estimated that TSMC's revenue for the third quarter soared to NT$1.49 trillion, surpassing market forecasts by 3%. The firm anticipates that TSMC's revenue, when measured in U.S. dollars, will experience a 41% increase this year. Analysts disclosed that TSMC is set to unveil its comprehensive third-quarter financial results on Thursday. Investors are particularly keen on its capacity expansion for the 2-nanometer process, its expansion strategies in the United States, and its outlook for 2027. Bernstein holds the view that there is potential to revise upwards its prior projection of a 30% annual revenue growth for TSMC in both 2027 and 2028.
