On October 7, Bloomberg broke the news that Intel's CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, had expressed Intel's commitment to continuing its collaboration with Musk on propelling the Terafab project forward. The Terafab project marks Musk's audacious venture into the state-of-the-art chip manufacturing realm, and Intel had already signed on as a development partner back in April of this year. Although Musk had engaged in discussions with TSMC about a potential Terafab collaboration earlier in the week, Tan unequivocally stated that Intel would maintain its involvement.
