Dynatron, a renowned manufacturer specializing in thermal solutions, has recently rolled out the SB1-4U-ACTIVE air-cooled cooler. This innovative cooler is meticulously crafted for the AMD Zen6 microarchitecture-based EPYC 9006 LP Verano processor, which is designed to operate on the Socket SB1 platform.

Geared primarily towards AI accelerator head node applications, this processor boasts compatibility with LPDDR5X SOCAMM2 memory modules. Although its official release is anticipated in 2027, the processor's specifications are already generating buzz. It can be configured with up to 72 CPU cores, capable of running at frequencies as high as 5GHz. Additionally, it supports 112Gbps high-bandwidth xGMI connectivity, ensuring seamless data transfer.

The SB1-4U-ACTIVE cooler is specifically engineered for 4U environments, with dimensions measuring 128.05×106.6×130.7 millimeters. It incorporates two dual ball-bearing fans, strategically placed at the front and rear, to enhance airflow. Coupled with a vapor chamber and multiple heat pipes, this setup ensures efficient heat dissipation, keeping the processor cool under heavy workloads.

The cooler's maximum fan speed can reach an impressive 6000±10% RPM, delivering a maximum air-cooling capacity of 91.7CFM. Despite its powerful cooling capabilities, the SB1-4U-ACTIVE maintains a maximum noise level below 44.5dB (A), ensuring a quiet and comfortable working environment.
