On October 7, according to the Financial Times, SpaceX is planning to raise $40 billion through a financing plan led by Apollo to purchase Nvidia chips. Sources familiar with the matter said that SpaceX intends to raise approximately $10 billion through bank loans and an additional $30 billion through investment-grade debt to support its large-scale chip procurement. Private capital group Apollo will lead the transaction and assist in selling the debt to a broader investor base. Bond group Pimco is one of the few lenders currently in discussions to provide financing for the deal, which is expected to be completed by 2027.
