According to Morgan Stanley's estimates, NVIDIA is poised to secure approximately 37.3% of the global high-bandwidth memory (HBM) supply by 2027, with the total value of its long-term supply agreements soaring to $279 billion. These agreements are structured with an uneven distribution of financial obligations: roughly $92 billion is slated for payment in the remaining period of fiscal year 2027, while $87 billion and $88 billion are scheduled for fiscal years 2028 and 2029, respectively. From a cost perspective, the price per GB of HBM4 has surged to the range of $31-$32, representing a near doubling from the $17-$18 range that prevailed during the HBM3e era.
