Samsung Electro-Mechanics has set its sights on augmenting its production capacity by investing a substantial 4.27 trillion won in the expansion of its package substrate production facilities at its Sejong plant in South Korea. This investment initiative is slated to unfold over a period from September 28, 2026, to May 31, 2028. Notably, the investment sum represents a significant 43.6% of the company's equity capital, as reflected in the consolidated financial statements at the close of 2025. Samsung Electro-Mechanics has also clarified that the precise investment amount and timeline are subject to modifications, contingent upon the project's advancement.
