On September 24, Luwei Optoelectronics made an announcement stating that the company had successfully secured a net sum of RMB 607 million via the issuance of convertible bonds. Out of this amount, RMB 319 million was earmarked for the expansion project concerning semiconductor and high-precision flat panel display masks. By August 31, 2026, the project had already seen an investment accumulation of RMB 320 million, surpassing the planned progress by 100.22%. Owing to delays in the delivery of certain equipment and the subsequent necessity for production line integration after incorporating Xiamen Luwei as an implementing entity, the anticipated operational date for the project has been shifted from September 2026 to March 2027. Nevertheless, the project's implementing entity, investment objective, and scale remain intact, and it is not anticipated to exert a substantial negative influence on the company's regular operations. This decision has received the endorsement of the company's board of directors and does not necessitate submission for approval at the shareholders' meeting.
