On September 22, Li Chao, the Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office at the National Development and Reform Commission, announced at a press conference that during the implementation of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” China is committed to upholding the principles of openness and integration, coordination and cooperation, compatibility and complementarity, as well as the sharing of achievements. These principles will guide the Beidou industry to scale up, aiming to surpass RMB 1 trillion in value within the next five years. This strategic move is expected to usher in new breakthroughs in the marketization, industrialization, and internationalization of large-scale Beidou applications. Presently, the overall output value of China's Beidou industry has already exceeded RMB 629 billion. The industry encompasses over 30,000 enterprises and institutions and employs a workforce exceeding 2 million people. The applications of the Beidou system are extensive and have been successfully exported to more than 140 countries and regions across the globe.
