Samsung Semiconductor announced that its 16GB 10.7Gbps LPDDR6 memory, developed by its memory business, has become the first to pass certification for Qualcomm's 6th generation Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform. This memory provides bandwidth of up to 114GB/s, supports DVFS (Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling) and DEM (Dynamic Energy Mode), and improves energy efficiency by 21%. Additionally, the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor also supports LPDDR6 memory, while ChangXin announced that its LPDDR6 memory has taken the lead in mass production for flagship smartphones and will be first featured in the Xiaomi 18 Fold.
