Shanshan Co., Ltd. has revealed its intention to invest in the construction of an integrated production base for lithium-ion battery anode materials at Inner Mongolia Shanshan Technology. The project is anticipated to achieve an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons, with a total investment amounting to roughly 5.106 billion yuan, encompassing approximately 4.318 billion yuan in fixed asset investments. The construction of the project is slated to kick off in March 2027 and reach completion by July 2028, spanning a construction period of 17 months. Once finished, the project will boast an integrated annual production capacity of 150,000 tons of anode materials, complemented by a supporting graphitization capacity of 50,000 tons. It's important to note that this investment plan is still pending review at the shareholders' meeting and must successfully navigate environmental impact assessments, energy evaluations, as well as other necessary approvals and filings.
