Intel: Intel 18A-P Enters Risk Production Stage, 14A Progressing Smoothly

Today, at the 2026 Intel Technology Innovation and Industry Ecosystem Conference, Annie Shea Weckesser, Intel's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, announced that Intel 18A has entered mass production, and its high-performance version, Intel 18A-P, has also commenced risk production. Meanwhile, the research and development of Intel 14A are progressing smoothly, with risk production for internal products scheduled to commence in the second half of 2027. Annie Shea Weckesser also predicted that by 2030, over 80% of servers worldwide will adopt the x86 architecture.
