On September 22, Hygon Information is set to unveil its 1000 series CPUs in Shenzhen. Leveraging the C86 architecture, this series is designed to be lightweight, specifically addressing the demands of low-power, embedded, and edge computing scenarios, including edge terminals, industrial machinery, and IoT nodes. Prior to this, Hygon had already launched three key CPU series: the 7000 series for data centers, the 5000 series for industrial clients, and the 3000 series for versatile, multi-scenario applications. The introduction of the 1000 series will finalize Hygon's strategic布局 (layout) in edge computing capabilities. In the first half of 2026, Hygon Information reported a revenue of RMB 9.099 billion, marking a 66.52% year-on-year increase, while its net profit reached RMB 1.798 billion, up by 49.69% from the previous year.
