Sources stated that CXMT intends to establish a NAND flash memory R&D production line at its new factory in Beijing and has already set up a research institute to carry out NAND development projects. CXMT has discussed its NAND flash memory plans with some clients, with one newly established startup planning to purchase its NAND chips for storage products in artificial intelligence systems and supercomputers, though the source did not disclose the company's name.
