During the midday break, the three major indices of A-shares exhibited a collective upward trend. The Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.04%, while the Shenzhen Component Index climbed 1.52%. Notably, the ChiNext index demonstrated the most significant surge, jumping 2.11%. In terms of sectoral performance, semiconductors, computer hardware, and daily chemical sectors stood out, spearheading the market's gains. Stocks like Torrens soared to the daily limit, Jieya shares spiked over 10%, and Jiangbo Long also witnessed a rise of over 3%. On the flip side, the automotive, coal, and oil & gas sectors lagged, recording the largest declines. Dayou Energy plummeted over 2%, BYD experienced a drop exceeding 1%, and CNOOC declined by 0.8%.
