On September 18, during its semi-annual performance briefing for 2026, Luwei Optoelectronics revealed that customer validation for its 40nm full-set photomasks is advancing smoothly. Both the 40nm and 28nm individual photomasks have successfully undergone client-side validation and are now being supplied. In parallel, the development of the 28nm to 14nm full-set photomasks is progressing as part of the Luxin Phase II project. This project is currently on track with its planned schedule, aiming to challenge the dominance of overseas companies in the high-end manufacturing sector.
