The launch of the next-generation gaming graphics cards from both NVIDIA and AMD might face additional delays. Based on reports, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 60 series, which is built on the Rubin architecture, along with the majority of AMD's new-generation Radeon gaming GPUs based on the RDNA 5 architecture, might not be available in the market until 2028. The main factor behind this delay is the soaring demand for AI technology. This demand has resulted in a scarcity of resources for chips, packaging materials, and memory components. Moreover, the profit margins associated with data center products are considerably higher compared to those of consumer-grade gaming GPUs.
