On September 17, sources revealed that GMI Cloud, an NVIDIA partner and U.S. data center operator, is seeking a $300 million loan to purchase chips to support its project facilities in Thailand. It is reported that GMI Cloud has approached banks and private credit funds regarding this financing, with the proposed transaction's yield expected to range between 10% and 15%. The financing is being arranged independently by the company, and the funds raised will be specifically used for chip procurement by GMI Cloud at facilities owned by STT GDC Private Limited in Thailand.
