On September 15, during the 2026 Dimensity Flagship Product Launch Event, MediaTek officially introduced its latest flagship chip, the Dimensity 9600 Pro. Crafted using TSMC's cutting-edge 2nm manufacturing process, this chip packs an impressive array of over 33 billion transistors. Its CPU architecture is designed with a 2+3+3 all-large-core configuration, achieving a maximum clock speed that nears 5GHz. In terms of memory and storage, the chip supports LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.0 flash storage, offering a significant performance enhancement of 10%-15% while simultaneously reducing power consumption by 25%-30%. The vivo X500 Pro series will proudly stand as the inaugural global devices to incorporate this state-of-the-art chip.
