By 2028, ASML intends to manufacture in excess of 110 extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines to cater to the burgeoning demand within the AI industry. The company's production capacity for EUV lithography machines in 2027 is nearly fully booked, with an anticipated output of a minimum of 80 units for that year. Moreover, ASML has plans to ramp up production by roughly 30% in 2028. At present, the market demand remains robust, with the majority of new orders being focused on deliveries scheduled for 2028. The primary bottleneck hindering production expansion is the assembly pace. Based on J.P. Morgan's projections, Intel is anticipated to regain its status as a significant customer for ASML by 2027. Meanwhile, Terafab, established by Musk, is also set to join the ranks of ASML's clientele. In 2028, customers are expected to start adopting the new generation of High NA EUV lithography machines, with a gradual large-scale deployment anticipated over the ensuing decade. Furthermore, ASML's sales performance to Chinese memory chip manufacturers is projected to be strong in 2027.
