AMD's newly launched Ryzen 5 5500F processor is priced at $99. Despite its similar naming to the Ryzen 5 5500, it offers a significant boost in gaming performance. In games with high CPU loads, the Ryzen 5 5500F outperforms the Ryzen 5 5500 by up to 16%. Tests show the largest gap in Battlefield 6 at 16%, followed by an 11% lead in Cyberpunk 2077, 9% in Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition, and 8% in Counter-Strike 2. However, the Ryzen 5 5500F's L3 cache is limited to just 16MB, half that of the Ryzen 5 5600, which restricts its performance in certain games.
