On September 12, LG Chem made an announcement regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Jiangyin Jianghua Microelectronics Materials Co., Ltd. This strategic move is aimed at jointly developing and manufacturing high-purity isopropyl alcohol (HP-IPA), marking LG Chem's formal entry into the Chinese semiconductor cleaning agent market. As per the terms of the agreement, LG Chem will provide Jianghua Micro with C3-IPA raw materials under fair and reasonable commercial conditions, facilitating the production of HP-IPA products.
