On September 4, according to a report by the Korean media outlet Greened.kr, Samsung Electronics and Arm have officially initiated joint research and development of on-device AI chips. Arm allocated a non-recurring engineering expense at the end of August, with both parties adopting a model where Arm provides the core technology and Samsung Electronics integrates and implements it, to jointly develop customized chips for end customers.
