On September 1, at the semi-annual results briefing, He Wei, Vice Chairman and General Manager of GigaDevice, stated that the company expects DRAM product prices to continue rising moderately in the second half of the year. Looking ahead to 2027, due to limited new capacity additions in the DRAM industry, the supply tightness is unlikely to ease significantly, resulting in a prolonged industry upcycle with product prices remaining high amid volatility. Meanwhile, the company believes the upcycle for SLC NAND Flash products will extend at least through the entire year of 2027.
