Developer JPRX recently open-sourced the Darwin-VM project, which utilizes a modified QEMU virtualization solution to boot genuine iOS and macOS systems, simulating multiple generations of Apple A/M-series chips. It is important to note that Darwin-VM is primarily intended for the XNU kernel, security research, and reverse engineering fields, rather than serving as a complete emulator for running iOS applications. Non-researchers do not need to deploy it.
