On August 31, NVIDIA announced that it would invest $3.5 billion to purchase convertible bonds issued by MediaTek, aiming to deepen their long-term cooperation and jointly build an AI platform spanning from the edge to the cloud. MediaTek will adopt NVIDIA's NVLink Fusion platform to help customers introduce custom XPUs into NVIDIA NVLink-connected rack-level AI factories.
