On August 29, Wuhan Xinxin unveiled its ambitious “Xinguang Plan.” Over the coming decade, the company will anchor its strategic vision in “optical sensing interconnection and three-dimensional storage and computing,” establishing a dedicated process wafer manufacturing and 3D integration industrial platform. This initiative aims to position Wuhan Xinxin as a cornerstone of the “3D Link-Optoelectronic Integration-SOI” industry hub. By scaling up production capacity fourfold, the plan seeks to catalyze the growth of an upstream-downstream industrial ecosystem valued at over RMB 100 billion, while nurturing a talent pool of more than 10,000 high-end semiconductor professionals.
