Recently, Professor Wang Xiaohong and her research team from the School of Integrated Circuits at Tsinghua University have achieved remarkable advancements in the design of power management chips tailored for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). The team introduced an innovative inductor-free power management approach known as 'Multi-Release Synchronous Charge Extraction' (MR-SECE). This method employs a specially designed multi-phase switched capacitor array (SCA) to substitute the traditional, cumbersome inductors, enabling efficient energy extraction within a compact framework. The pertinent research results have been published in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, a leading journal in the industrial electronics sector.
