On August 27, the Hong Kong stock market witnessed a low-level oscillation trend, as reflected by the performance of the Hang Seng Index and the Hang Seng Tech Index. By the end of the trading day, the Hang Seng Index had dipped by 0.34%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index experienced a slight decline of 0.13%. The total market turnover for the Hang Seng Index reached HKD 233.515 billion.

In terms of sector-specific stocks, PCB (Printed Circuit Board), optical communication, and chip stocks demonstrated robust performance. Notably, Montage Technology soared over 12%, with Kingboard Laminates and YOFC both witnessing increases of more than 10%. GigaDevice rose by over 7%, Hua Hong Semiconductor saw a gain of over 4%, and SMIC climbed over 2%. Concurrently, AI large-model stocks also exhibited an upward trajectory, with Zhipu surging over 12% and MINIMAX-W increasing by nearly 4%. Furthermore, Baidu's stock price rose by over 5%, coinciding with the announcement that Hong Kong would be added as its primary listing location, with plans to finalize the dual primary listing by September 1.
