According to Bloomberg, the US government is investigating Singaporean logistics company Apex Logistics on allegations of diverting NVIDIA AI chips to China. This move may represent the first action taken by the US against a shipping company accused of participating in the illegal semiconductor trade. Previously, the US has repeatedly pressured countries such as Singapore and Malaysia to prevent the illegal flow of NVIDIA AI chips into China. Singaporean police have cracked down on multiple similar cases, charging several individuals with fraud and illegal export of chips.
