NVIDIA plans to significantly upgrade the functionality of its App by introducing a new control option for Resizable BAR technology. This technology breaks through the limitations of traditional PCIe architecture, allowing the CPU to directly access the entire GPU memory space. It can improve performance by 5% to 12% in AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077, without requiring hardware modifications—only software support is needed. The new version of the App will offer three modes: Auto, Enabled, and Disabled, with Auto as the default mode. Currently, this upgrade is still under development, and industry speculation suggests it may be released simultaneously with the next-generation graphics card drivers.
