On August 25th, it was reported that the research team, helmed by Researcher Liu Hongjun from the Transient Optics Laboratory at the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has recently achieved a significant milestone in the realm of mid-infrared nonlinear frequency upconversion imaging, leveraging the power of metasurfaces.
